Handpained Icon with eggtempera pigments and Polished Gold 24k.
Two icons, exact copy of the original icon, in the shape of a window. The height of the icons is 50 cm.
The gold leaf I use is from the Eytzinger company in Germany. 22 carats, and 23.75 carats.
